China January Excavator Sales Jump 49.5% Year On Year

China’s excavator market started 2026 with strong growth. According to data released by the China Construction Machinery Association, China’s excavator sales reached 18,708 units in January 2026, up 49.5% year on year. Domestic sales rose 61.4% to 8,723 units, while exports increased 40.5% to 9,985 units.
