China Excavator Exports Stay Strong Despite February Domestic Slowdown

China’s excavator sales showed a mixed performance in February 2026. Total excavator sales reached 17,226 units, down 10.6% year on year. Domestic sales fell to 6,755 units, down 42%, mainly reflecting seasonal weakness around the Spring Festival period. However, exports remained strong, reaching 10,471 units, up 37.2% year on year. From January to February 2026, total excavator sales reached 35,934 units, up 13.1%, while exports increased 38.8% to 20,456 units.

This export growth is important for the aftermarket parts sector. As more Chinese construction machinery enters overseas markets, demand for maintenance parts, diesel injection components, and repair kits is likely to increase. Customers in overseas markets need stable parts supply not only for new machines, but also for equipment already working in construction, mining, road building, agriculture, and industrial projects.

For diesel fuel systems, accurate product matching is essential. Common rail injectors, diesel fuel injectors, high pressure pumps, nozzles, valves, and repair kits must be matched by part number, engine model, or machine model to avoid installation problems.

Yoshida provides product identification and export supply support for customers looking for diesel injection parts and construction machinery engine components. Customers can send part numbers or product photos to confirm suitable replacement parts before ordering.
